She was a reality TV star, Playboy Playmate and former Guess model. Anna Nicole Smith, whose bizarre and colorful life came to a tragic end. She died on February 08, 2007. Smith, 39, collapsed and was unresponsive while staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Cafe Hotel and Casino. She was rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Florida. Several days leaving up to her death, Smith began experiencing chills, vomiting, and her temperature rose to 105 degree. On the morning she passed away, she reported feeling weak, needed help getting to the bathroom, and was found unresponsive and unconscious hours later. Police investigators searched Anna Nicole Smith’s hotel room late Thursday afternoon and found two key pieces of evidence: illegal narcotics and prescription medications.

The 10th annual Rookie Symposium in San Diego will be taking place on June 25th. This is a four day orientation that introduces the 2006 NFL Draft into the National Football League before the training camps start.

The Symposium includes the participation of the rookies in the fourth annual NFL Youth Football Clinic on Tuesday afternoon (June 27) in San Diego.

Volkswagen and DaimlerChrysler are getting hitched. Well, sort of. The two predominately German automakers are not merging, but are in the process of exploring building products for one another. What is coming? Who gets what vehicle? What can all this mean?? Read on and I will tell you.

It is official: Volkswagen has decided not to import its microbus minivan to the American market. Citing conversion costs and exchange rate differences, VW has elected instead to start selling its own version of Chryslers popular minivans in the US. Based on the Chrysler Voyager, the new VW minivan has yet to be named but it will be nothing more than a rebadged Voyager. The minivan will fill a glaring hole in the VW line up and keep current owners from departing the company in search of a larger people mover.

DaimlerChrysler [DCX] will benefit by maxing out production of its minivan fleet. In addition, DCX is also studying importing rebadged versions of VWs popular compact Polo to fill a glaring gap in its own line up. As a registered nurse I attend many classes, and recently had a small revelation about the relationship between age and the incidence of migraines headaches. Our teacher said that migraines headaches hardly ever appear after the age of 55, and that migraines headaches are related to hormones and hormone change. I found this remarkable, since in my many years in the ER I had in fact seen lots of younger men and women with migraines headacnes, but never older men or women. But it had not occurred to me that hormone change was the key factor to migraines headaches.

This now made perfect sense to me.
